As part of the Gulf Research Center’s (GRC) Research Program on GCC-Latin America relations, Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the GRC, hosted a meeting on December 4, 2024, at the GRC office in Riyadh with HE Andy Rodriguez Duran, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Saudi Arabia .

As part of the Gulf Research Center’s (GRC) Research Program on GCC-Latin America relations, Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the GRC, hosted a meeting on December 4, 2024, at the GRC office in Riyadh with HE Andy Rodriguez Duran, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Saudi Arabia .

As part of the Gulf Research Center’s (GRC) Research Program on GCC-Latin America relations, Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the GRC, hosted a meeting on December 4, 2024, at the GRC office in Riyadh with HE Andy Rodriguez Duran, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Saudi Arabia.

The meeting, attended by senior staff and researchers from the GRC, focused on the strengthening of ties between the Dominican Republic and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Discussions explored opportunities for collaboration between Dominican think tanks and the GRC, emphasizing the shared interest in fostering deeper engagement between the two regions.

The event, held from December 1-2, 2024, features 14 presentations addressing various aspects of labour and migration in the region

The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Christian Koch, Director of Research at the GRC, and Philipp Dienstbier, Director of the Regional Programme Gulf States at KAS.

The Gulf Research Center (GRC), in cooperation with the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI) , the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) , and the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA) , organized the webinar ‘Saudi-Nordic Relations’ on November 13, 2024, during which political and security issues, military cooperation, economics, energy, education, and innovation between the two sides were discussed.
