On Monday 9th May 2022 , Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), received the director of the Institute for Strategic Research (IRSEM) at the French Ministry for the Armed Forces, Dr. Jean-Baptiste Jeangène Vilmer and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and France, and the means to enhance them in all aspects to serve the aspirations of the two countries.

The workshop discussed issues ranging from the JCPOA to the broader security issues, conflict and potential areas for cooperation in the Middle East.
