Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), met with Mr. Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO of Fincantieri, and his delegation in Jeddah on the occasion of the visit of the Italian naval vessel Amerigo Vespucci.

Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), met with Mr. Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO of Fincantieri, and his delegation in Jeddah on the occasion of the visit of the Italian naval vessel Amerigo Vespucci.

Fincantieri is one of the world’s largest shipbuilders and is majority owned by the Italian government. During the meeting the discussions centered on areas of mutual interest, including maritime security, underwater capabilities, and opportunities for expanding presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Gulf Research Center Foundation Brussels (GRCF-B) hosted today, on January 23, 2025, in its office, an informal discussion with diplomats of the GCC states stationed in Brussels.
