The workshop focused on the situation in Syria following the collapse of the Assad regime, exploring the current dynamics and potential future scenarios.

In his remarks, Dr. Sager emphasized that the Middle East and the Horn of Africa remain pivotal arenas for great power competition due to their geostrategic significance and economic importance.
