Events are an important aspect of the work that the Gulf Research Center (GRC) provides in promoting cooperation and linking GRC to a global network of leading individuals and research initiatives. They play a key role for the GRC in the Gulf region as they facilitate mutual research activities amongst various Gulf institutions and neighboring regions to raise knowledge of important Gulf-specific issues in which prominent speakers worldwide participate.
The Gulf Research Center is active in organizing conferences, lectures, meetings, seminars, symposiums and workshops that complement its various research programs. These include a wide range of events related to its research work and of importance to the Gulf Region. Such activities address a range of subjects that include more insight and awareness on the Gulf through a detailed, unbiased and reliable forum for specialized research on a number of topics such as, Foreign Relations, Economy & Energy, Labor Markets & Migration, Environmental Security & Sustainability, Politics & Society, Security & Defense, and their ramifications and importance. The goal of these events is to create greater transparency and engagement between policy and academic communities
