Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), received at the GRC’s office in Riyadh Mr. Cliff Kupchan, Chairman of ‘Eurasia Group’ @Eurasiagroup which specializes in analyzing political risks, and who was a former official in the US State Department.
The meeting was attended by the Senior Advisor at the Gulf Research Center, Professor Dr. Saleh Al-Khathlan. Both sides exchanged views on topics of common interest related to the current situation in the region.
The Gulf Research Center (GRC) received a delegation from the Academy of Diplomacy from the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the GRC's office in Riyadh. The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Hung Son, Vice President of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet nam, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet nam @MOFAVietNam . The discussion focused on KSA's foreign policies and active role in regional mediation and other regional developments.
Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), received Mr. Manuel Hernandez Gamallo, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia @SPAINinKSA , at the GRC’s office in Riyadh. The meeting was attended by GRC’s senior researcher, Dr. Rafael Hernandez de Santiago, where views were exchanged on a number of topics of common interest related to the current situation in the region.
Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC) hosted the ‘GCC-ASEAN’ roundtable meeting in the GRC’s office in Riyadh on August 16, 2023. The meeting was attended by the Ambassadors of the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Republic of Myanmar, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and Cambodia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting was also attended by H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Aluwaisheg, Assistant Secretary General, Political Affairs and Negotiations, Gulf Cooperation Council, and H.E the Advisor at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Agency for International Multilateral Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al Tayer.
The roundtable meeting focused on the current relations and development in cooperation between the GCC and ASEAN in coordination with the upcoming GCC-ASEAN Summit in Riyadh at the end of October.
Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center, and Senior Advisor, Prof. Saleh Al-Khathlan, had a lunch meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Mr. Chen Weiqing. During the meeting, both sides discussed the ongoing regional developments.
The chairman of the Gulf Research Center , Dr. Abdulaziz bin Sager , welcomed in the center's headquarters in Riyadh on October 20, 2022, his excellency the Irish ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ( Gerry Cunningham). During the meeting, they discussed the Saudi-Irish relations, and the international and the regional developmental updates.
