The 14th Gulf Research Meeting organized by the Gulf Research Center officially began on July 9, 2024 at the University of Cambridge with nearly 400 participants convening to exchange ideas and perspectives in areas ranging from security and conflict resolution to AI and climate change related to the Gulf region.

The 14th Gulf Research Meeting organized by the Gulf Research Center officially began on July 9, 2024 at the University of Cambridge with nearly 400 participants convening to exchange ideas and perspectives in areas ranging from security and conflict resolution to AI and climate change related to the Gulf region.

The 14th Gulf Research Meeting organized by the Gulf Research Center officially began on July 9, 2024 at the University of Cambridge with nearly 400 participants convening to exchange ideas and perspectives in areas ranging from security and conflict resolution to AI and climate change related to the Gulf region. Over the following 2 days, participants will share their research on critical issues affecting the Gulf in 13 different workshops with the overall aim to contribute to a better understanding of the developments impacting the Gulf.

His Excellency, Mr. Javier Solana de Madariaga KCMG CYC @javiersolana , Chairman of the Royal Board of the Trustees of Prado Museum, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain, Former Secretary General of NATO, Former EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy and Secretary General of the Council of the European Union and of the Western European Union, received Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC) for a private visit to El Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain on July 3, 2024. Further discussions have taken place between both sides in areas of common interests.

Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), signed his acceptance as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the World Law Foundation @WorldLawFound at the invitation of H.E. Dr. Javier Cremades, Chairman of the World Association of Jurists @worldjurist for International Relations and Peace through Law https://worldjurist.org in Madrid, Spain on July 3 ,2024.

Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), signed his acceptance as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the World Law Foundation @WorldLawFound at the invitation of H.E. Dr. Javier Cremades, Chairman of the World Association of Jurists @worldjurist for International Relations and Peace through Law https://worldjurist.org in Madrid, Spain on July 3 ,2024. Acting as witness was the Hon. Mr. Iván Duque, Former President of the Republic of Colombia being a member of the Foundation. Further discussions took place between both sides in areas of common interest. This was followed by an official lunch with the attendance of members of the Foundation, Ambassadors accredited in Spain, together with wide representation of the media, business, telecom and law sectors.
